What is a spider tow truck?
A spider tow truck is equipped with a crane-manipulator that lifts the vehicle from above with special mounts — no rolling or towing required. It is the only solution when a standard tow truck cannot get close or the car cannot move at all.
When do you need a spider?
- The car is blocked in a narrow yard or a confined space a regular tow truck cannot enter
- The wheels or running gear are damaged and the car cannot roll
- After an accident, the car is off the road or in a ditch and needs to be recovered
- An improperly parked car needs to be moved with minimal maneuvering
